Currently Dropbox file chooser is available for the following features:
- Tasks
- Invoices
- Estimates
- Proposals
- Leads
- Customer Profile Files
- Contracts
- Project Files
To setup Dropbox file Chooser, you will need to create Dropbox APP and get the unique APP key
Create APP
Access your account, in the reserved area where you can configure an App, from this address: https://www.dropbox.com/developers/apps/create
Get unique APP key and setup allowed chooser domains
After you create the Dropbox APP you will need to get the unique APP key and set available domains for this app.
When using Dropbox file chooser for security reasons, you need to add Chooser domains
Add your domain where GOJO CXM is installed to use the application properly.
Copy the App key and navigate to Setup->Settings->Misc -> Dropbox APP Key paste the key and save the settings.
Now you will be able to chose files from Dropbox account without taking space in your server.
NOTES:
- Using the Chooser doesn’t require production approval.
- For allowed files types to select from Dropbox the same settings are applied from Setup->Settings->General->Allowed file types
- Dropbox files cant be attached to email eq. when sending invoice to customer.
